These staff support individuals with advanced care needs, including: • Medication Administration (Diabetes management involving blood sampling and injections) • Epilepsy Management (administration of midazolam via buccal or nasal routes in emergencies) • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Care and Feeding • Catheter Care • Other medical needs as and when required Training includes competency assessments, will be delivered at Council-provided venues across North Yorkshire, and will be demand led.
