CEFAS26-68 Contract for Marine Benthic Macroinvertebrate Samples Processing

CEFAS procured the processing and identification of up to 52 marine benthic macroinvertebrate samples collected from the Coquet to St Mary's Marine Conservation Zone as part of a Marine Protected Area monitoring survey. The contract, awarded to University of Hull for £22,455 in June 2026, requires extraction and taxonomic identification of macrofauna to the lowest possible level following NMBAQC guidelines, biomass determination, and quality assurance audits, with results delivered in standardized spreadsheet format.
