Framework for The Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Relocation of Stairlifts
• Supply and installation of stair lifts for use within domestic properties (including a minimum of a 12-month warranty to cover an annual service at month 11 and all callouts and repairs). • Repair and maintenance of existing stair lifts within Council-owned domestic properties following the expiry of the initial warranty period. This will apply to stair lifts installed by the Contractor during the new contract as well as stair lifts currently in place. • Removal, temporary storage and re-siting of stair lifts from domestic properties. Where re-siting is to be considered, this would be subject to a condition report. • Hold separately a minimum of 10 units - including two of each stairlift type for priority cases. • Provide demonstrations of equipment when required during the term of the contract, including when a stairlift is installed, property is re-let or a customer needs further demonstration. Demonstration must include full explanation to the Customer of how to operate the stairlift and include observing the Customer using the stairlift competently. Demonstration on new installation or re-let of property must occur on the same day as the installation/date the Customer moves in and begins to use the equipment. • Have the ability to provide demonstration of equipment such as showroom with products which residents can visit or digital platform with examples of equipment and its usage.

Demonstration on new installation or re-let of property must occur on the same day as the installation/date the Customer moves in and begins to use the equipment. • Have the ability to provide demonstration of equipment such as a showroom with products which residents can visit or digital platform with examples of equipment and its usage.

For domestic properties, this will include a minimum of a 12-month warranty to cover annual service to be carried out in month 11 and all callouts and repairs. • Removal, temporary storage and re-siting of tracked ceiling hoists from Council-owned properties as directed by the Council. • Hold separately a level of stock of ceiling hoists for priority cases those with life limiting conditions (minimum of 10 units - at least two of each hoist type. • Provide demonstrations of equipment when required during the term of the contract, including following installation, when a property is re-let or a tenant needs further demonstration. Demonstration must include full explanation to the Customer of how to operate the hoist and include observing the Customer and carer/relative using the hoist competently. Demonstration on new installation or re-let of property must occur on the same day as the installation/date the Customer moves in and begins to use the equipment. • Have the ability to provide demonstration of equipment such as a showroom with products which residents can visit or digital platform with examples of equipment and its usage.
