Published
Published 9 April 2025

Overview

Provision of a feasibility study for the processing of mixed dry recycling material collected at the kerbside across Staffordshire County, to include consideration of various infrastructure options supporting upcoming legislative change. To combat increasing uncertainty in the waste management industry related to the processing of kerbside collected dry mixed recycling, it is necessary for the Staffordshire Waste Partnership to consider various options for the re-procurement of current MRF contracts. These options need to include provision of local infrastructure to support delivery of the service, both in the form of transfer stations and/or a processing facility.
