Overview

The Works comprise the removal and re-insertion of individual loose bricks and masonry to the crown of the tunnel arch inner ring together with the repointing of the masonry arch barrel and arch liner vertical walls, the insertion of weep/hole tubes at the arch springing point and the cleaning out of the drainage channels and drainage outlets at the base of the vertical tunnel walls each side employing best conservation practice with all of the works executed in Phases in 10.00 to 15.00m sections employing a heavy duty rolling platform/crashdeck, safety netting and temporary lighting whist the tunnel/greenway is fully “live” and in full occupation and use as per the Works Requirements/Tender Documents issued to all tenderers per the Works Requirements/Tender Documents issued to all tenderers.
