Overview
The HSE, National Social Inclusion Office (NSIO) wishes to invite tenderers to tender to conduct research examining Health and Housing Needs of People Sleeping Rough. This research is designed to deepen an understanding of the gaps that exist in the provision of health and care for people sleeping rough in Ireland – and what can be done to ensure that the health and care system better meets the needs of this group. The study should align with below priorities: • Ensuring that people sleeping rough can access health services of equal quality to others, and minimizing the impact of rough sleeping on health. • Addressing how ill health affects the ability of individuals to move off the streets and sustain a settled lifestyle.
