Kent Grazing Project – Infrastructure Works

Kent County Council is seeking a contractor to deliver conservation-sensitive infrastructure works across multiple sites in North Kent for the North Kent Grazing Project, a nature recovery initiative supporting chalk grassland restoration. The scope includes stock-proof fencing installation, field and accessibility gates, scrub clearance, water infrastructure, and access track construction across designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest and protected landscapes between Autumn 2026 and Autumn 2027, funded through the Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest priced compliant tender, with submission deadline 21 August 2026.
