Bikeability

Published 5 March 2026

Overview

Bikeability cycle training is a nationally recognised programme carried out in Salford schools to enable pupils to cope with the road environment and to ride safely on the road. Training encourages children to cycle to school rather than rely on parents taking them in cars. This is an extension to the existing contract. A full tender process will be carried out for the new contract at the end of this extension period.
