NHS England Contribution to JESIP

Published
Published 26 February 2026

Overview

The Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme (JESIP) models principles that have become the standard for interoperability in the UK, resulting in efficient multi-agency working, along with training and awareness products for responding to organisations to train their staff. The principles for joint working are used during all phases of incidents, pre-planned or spontaneous, regardless of scale. JESIP is funded through contributions from the Police, Fire and Ambulance services. This BC serves to cover the funding on behalf of NHS Ambulance services in England.
