ACTS Early Works and Risk Reduction (EWRR)

The Ministry of Defence awarded a £4.91 million contract to Raytheon Systems Limited on 12 January 2026 for Early Works and Risk Reduction activities supporting the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) transformation programme. The five-month contract (February to July 2026) includes derisking activities such as maturing secure design processes, conducting audits, planning legacy equipment transition, and updating training demand plans, while also providing direct support to NATO Exercise ARCADE STORM 26 to validate UK 1st Division Headquarters ahead of 2027 NATO validation. This work bridges the transition from the current collective training system to the modernised, digitalised ACTS, which will serve approximately 60,000 soldiers annually with flexible, global training capabilities.
