Small Firms FSCS Protected Badge Launch Support

Published
Published 2 January 2026

Overview

From 1 December 2025, all UK-authorised deposit firms will be required as per PRA rules to update their branches, websites and mobile apps with the new FSCS Protected disclosure materials and badge. Through engagement with key deposit industry stakeholders, we are aware that smaller deposit takers typically have difficulty printing these materials due to limited access to bespoke printing houses and small budgets. As such, FSCS will be providing printing, design and distribution support at launch to firms with < 100k customers as well as shared banking hubs. The agency appointed is already familiar with the design of the new disclosure material and badge and must be able to provide this support. Given the need for these firms to meet the PRA rules and the proximity to the 1 December 2025 launch, FSCS needs to appoint via direct award to the agency that designed the New Badge.
