Overview

Greater Manchester Combined Authority has awarded Street Doctors Ltd a £60,000 contract (signed 31 July 2025) to deliver the StreetDoctors Stepwise programme, a bespoke training initiative for young people within the criminal justice system. The programme comprises 11 sessions across 10 modules covering violence prevention, life-saving skills, first aid certification, mental health support, and social action, delivered through six lead community partners. Selected participants will progress to community educator training with personalised mentoring, co-designing and delivering training to peers at schools and community centres whilst developing employability skills in youth work and healthcare.
