Overview

UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) commissioned a six-year UK-wide celebration of research and innovation to engage the public, particularly young people and underrepresented groups, through coordinated activities, grants programmes, deliberative dialogues, knowledge-sharing support, and evaluation. The British Association for the Advancement of Science was awarded the contract on 4 December 2025 for £3,297,384.18 to deliver five integrated work packages spanning local and regional engagement, community-led events, youth consultations, and programme evaluation.
