Norse Highways, a division of Norse Eastern Ltd, has established a closed framework for layered patching and associated repair works following the award in October 2025 to five contractors: DC Groundworks Norfolk Limited, MW Surfacing Limited, NR Asphalt Ltd, Nu-Phalt Contracting Ltd, and W N Surfacing Ltd. The framework comprises four lots covering carriageway layered patching, footway patching, pothole reinstating, and carriageway resurfacing, with up to six suppliers appointed per lot for planned maintenance works (lots 1–3) and an unrestricted number for larger-scale resurfacing work (lot 4).

Planned maintenance works for Pothole Reinstating/Patching AC10 or HRA 55/10. Works include sides of hole to be trimmed to produce a regular shaped repair, loose material to be removed and any standing water to be removed prior to reinstating. To include all traffic management and facilities to ensure safe operation in the highway.

Carriageway Re-Surfacing
