The Great Childhood’s Ambition Strategy (GCA) aims to create a borough-wide, collaborative approach to ensure children and young people are ready to learn, grow up healthy and well and are inspired by the possibilities in Barnsley. GCA focuses on five strategic priorities (Belong, Explore, Dream, Grown and Connect). We want Barnsley to be a place of possibilities for everyone. A place where children and young people from all backgrounds and starting points benefit from the opportunities that great childhoods can bring.
