Vertical Microstructure Turbulence Profiler

The Contracting Authority has awarded a contract for the one-time requirement for a vertical microstructure turbulence profiler to replace the previous unit which was lost at sea. The authority has performed a direct award due to having existing hardware and software set up on its research vessel for the procured unit, which would otherwise need to be replaced or adapted at an additional cost, as the previous vertical microstructure turbulence profiler was a model procured from the same supplier. The 12 month contract covers the warranty period of 1 year provided with the goods, which clearly outlines the supplier's relevant obligations.
