Framework for Fire Safety Works Contractors

Kirklees Council awarded a framework agreement to six contractors for passive fire protection and remediation works across its housing and neighbourhood buildings. The framework, valued at £25 million over two years with a possible two-year extension, comprises two lots: Lot 1 for fire door supply, installation and maintenance (£15 million), and Lot 2 for fire stopping works including small penetrations and large openings (£10 million). Work will be driven by fire risk assessments required for approximately 872 buildings including high-rise, low-rise, medium-rise, retirement schemes, boiler houses and offices, with contractors (ABCA Systems Limited, Bell Group Limited, Holistic Fire Safety Ltd, Neo Property Solutions Limited, Nidd Vale Construction, and Openview Security Solutions Limited) delivering remedial works as recommended by assessments or identified through surveys and maintenance checks.
