HCC August 2026 - The Provision of a framework for Skills Bootcamp

Hertfordshire County Council is establishing a framework for Skills Bootcamp provision, a training programme supporting adults aged 19+ to gain in-demand skills through flexible courses lasting up to 16 weeks, with guaranteed job interviews upon completion. The framework, valued at £8 million, will address skills gaps across priority sectors including construction, digital, engineering, and clean energy, serving both employed and unemployed individuals while helping employers fill vacancies. Providers must demonstrate evidence of local labour market demand and alignment with Local Skills Improvement Plans, with the submission deadline of 14 September 2026.
