A Foyer Provision

Manchester City Council is commissioning a short-term supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or transitioning from care, using the Foyer model. The service will integrate safe accommodation with education, training, employment support, personal development, and health and wellbeing services, operating on an outcomes-focused, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach with emphasis on independence and preventing repeat homelessness. The contract runs from 1 February 2027 for 5 years, with an estimated value of £1.45 million.
