Overview

Veolia Energie ČR is procuring a modernization of its 22 kV and 110 kV distribution system to comply with ČEZ Distribuce requirements, including replacement of a 50 MVA oil transformer with a new 63 MVA unit, upgrades to 110 kV lines with new measuring transformers and protective equipment, reconstruction of the 22 kV switchyard with new electrical protections and network analyzers, and modifications to the control and regulation system with automatic transformer tap switching for voltage regulation. The work will be executed as a Design & Build project and forms part of a broader decarbonization initiative for the Karviná heating plant.
