Assisted Conception Unit (ACU) Joint Venture

Kingston and Richmond Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is planning a long-term strategic joint venture to establish and operate an Assisted Conception Unit (ACU) delivering fertility treatment services including IVF, ICSI, egg and sperm donation, embryo donation, fertility preservation, and related services for both NHS-funded and private patients at a location approximately 3.5 miles from the main hospital site. The procurement, expected to be conducted under the Procurement Act 2023 using a competitive flexible procedure with tender submission by end August 2026 and award by end January 2027, seeks a partner to provide capital investment, premises, equipment, clinical expertise, and operational capacity, with anticipated transfer of certain nursing and administrative staff via TUPE.
