Overview

DTU is procuring services to conduct methane emission measurements at 12 pig farms using the TDM method (tracer gas dispersion) as part of the DOMETEK project. The contractor will perform 72 measurements (6 per farm) over a full calendar year to determine absolute methane emissions and assess the effectiveness of methane-reducing measures including frequent manure removal, biogas digestion, and slurry acidification, with results to be incorporated into Denmark's national emissions inventory.
