Overview
Im Rahmen des Projektes 490039 FbE Landtunnel-Riffelalp erfolgen Gleisbauarbeiten auf dem Streckennetz der Gornergrat Bahn AG, welche den Substanzerhalt der Infrastruktur gewährleisten. Der betroffene Abschnitt befindet sich zwischen dem Landtunnel und der Station Riffelalp.
In obgenannten Streckenabschnitt wird der Oberbau (Schienen, Schwellen, Zahnstangenlamellen und Schotter) erneuert. Generell bleiben die vorhandenen Entwässerungselemente und die bergseitigen Natursteinmauern unverändert.
