Overview
The City of Reykjavík invites tenders for a framework agreement for electrical contractor services related to the maintenance and repair of the city’s street lighting and traffic signal systems.
The scope of the contract includes, among other things, routine inspections, fault monitoring and diagnostics, repairs to underground cables, work in street cabinets, installation and replacement of lighting poles and luminaires, emergency repairs, and installation of lighting equipment.
Tenderers are permitted to submit bids for one or both lots, but only one tender may be submitted per lot.
The contract period is one year, with the possibility of renewal three times for one year at a time.
The maximum total contract value under this framework is estimated at ISK 580,000,000 (including VAT) for street lighting services, and ISK 290,000,000 (including VAT) for traffic signal services, based on a four-year contract duration.
