The Dirección General del Agua contracted services to study flood risk reduction alternatives, prioritize interventions, draft technical projects, and initiate environmental procedures for the Horta Sud area in Valencia, as required by the Júcar River Basin Flood Risk Management Plan. The contract, awarded to the UTE TYPSA GECIVAL POYO joint venture for 1,101,000 EUR on 13 May 2026, focuses on structural measures for flood protection in watercourses affected by the October 2024 DANA event and other areas of significant flood risk.
