Retele Electrice Romania S.A. has awarded a 36-month framework agreement for vegetation removal works in medium and low voltage electrical distribution installations across seven lots in the Muntenia, Banat, and Dobrogea operational regions. The contract, valued at 36,711,211.63 RON, was awarded on 12 January 2026 to nine contractors including DRAGSIL, ELECBRANS S.R.L., IULIA BOSS, NOVA OAS SRL, and others. Works comprise cutting and trimming vegetation to maintain clearance zones around overhead power lines and maintaining access routes to distribution transformers, with semiannual or quarterly call-off frequency depending on the lot.
