The University of Cádiz procured and has been supplied with a high-resolution confocal spectral microscopy system with infrared range capability, including an anti-vibration table, coupled computers, and a high-capacity slide scanner integrated with confocal scanning software to expand and improve the microscopy service at the Central Research Services in Biomedicine. Carl Zeiss Iberia SL was awarded the contract for €1,025,000 on 7 May 2026, with the project funded by MICIU/AEI and FEDER (EU).
