BIO.NRW ist das offizielle Netzwerk der Biotechnologie- und Life-Science-Branche in NRW und die zentrale Informations-, Kooperations- und Bündelungsstelle für alle Akteure in und außerhalb NRWs. Das Netzwerk koordiniert und verbindet regionale Biotechnologie-Netzwerke, ist "One-Stop-Shop" für die Branche, unterstützt Startups, bringt das Netzwerk in "high-profile" Veranstaltungen zusammen und erhebt regelmäßig wichtige Datensätze zu Unternehmen, Trends, Investitionen und Beschäftigten.
Der bestehende Vertrag zum Betrieb von BIO.NRW endet zum 31.12.2025. Die Weiterführung des Betriebs von BIO.NRW, zunächst bis zum 31.12.2027 (mit Verlängerungsoption) ist Gegenstand des ausgeschriebenen Auftrags.
