Semi-automated probe system with accessories

IHP GmbH has awarded a contract to ATV Systems GmbH for the procurement of a semi-automated probe system for optical and opto-electrical characterization at wafer and chip level, operating in the visible spectral range. The system comprises a 200 mm semi-automated probe station with temperature control, microscope, and manipulators for RF/DC probes and optical fibers, with delivery, installation, commissioning, and two days of training to the laboratory. The procurement is complete as of 4 May 2026, with the supplier required to meet CE and EU Machinery Directive compliance, supply a 24-month warranty, provide German-language documentation, and optionally offer a three-year maintenance contract.
