Les deux bassins versants ont été regroupés lors de la construction de la nouvelle station d'épuration du Mont-d'Or.
Le périmètre de l'étude regroupe les huit villages suivants : Rochejean, Longevilles-Mont-d'Or, Saint-Antoine,
Fourcatier et Maison Neuve, Métabief, Touillon et Loutelet, Les Hôpitaux-Neufs et Les Hôpitaux-Vieux.
