The project involves converting multi-bed rooms to double rooms with private bathrooms, upgrading building services (HVAC, electrical), improving energy performance, and addressing fire safety across five dormitory buildings, with planning to commence July 2026 and construction beginning spring 2028, requiring completion of a funding application by October 2026.
