81321667-Capacity and organizational development of key public institutions on sustainable finance

GIZ awarded a contract worth €222,360 to ICON - INSTITUT Sustain GmbH on 12 May 2026 to provide capacity and organizational development services for sustainable finance in Senegal through March 2028. The scope includes policy advice and capacity building to support the development and implementation of a green finance taxonomy, technical assistance on innovative sustainable financing instruments, and support for establishing a Climate Finance Unit. The contractor will work with key public institutions including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment, Central Bank of West African States, and development banks to strengthen the financial sector's sustainable financing capabilities.
