Die Stadt Ludwigsburg beabsichtigt den Neubau des Bildungszentrums
West (BZW) in Ludwigsburg. Die Planung sieht den Neubau von drei Bauteilen für die
5-zügige Realschule und das 5-zügige Gymnasium, die Stadtteil- und Schulbibliothek
sowie Räume für den Ganztag und eine gemeinsame Mensa für alle drei Schulen am
Bildungszentrum West mit rd. 28.000 m2 Bruttogrundfläche vor. Die Flachdächer mit
rd. 6.500 m2 werden extensiv begrünt und mit Photovoltaikanlagen belegt.
