Sustaining the Mission Implementation Platform for the Adaptation to Climate Change Mission

Under this public procurement, the following services are expected to be provided: • Well-coordinated support to the general operation and activities of the Adaptation to Climate Change Mission, as valid service to the European Commission in the broad range of activities involved with the implementation of the Mission; • Coordination and facilitation of the Mission Community of Practice, in all its articulations (such as virtual and physical events, thematic working groups etc.), proving engaging involvement and opportunities for exchanges for all involved actors and regions, in relation to the actions they are undertaking in the field of climate resilience building; • Provide support to regions and local authorities on financing their climate resilience and adaptation projects; • Continuous and ad hoc monitoring and assistance to the European Commission in relation to any Mission evaluation, by maintaining and improving the current monitoring framework, further refining monitoring tools and KPI for the Mission, producing timely reporting on progress. • Assistance to the Commission with the overall communication on the Mission, through the different relevant channels including the Mission Portal, broadly towards citizens and also specific target audiences, helping to identify and create synergies and add value to communication, dissemination and exploitation activities of individual projects of the Mission's portfolio, and boost scientific, societal and economic impacts. • Organisation of the annual forum, catering for all related logistics and communication • On the ground support to regions and local authorities participating in the Mission in organising regional and local events involving citizens and stakeholders.
