Sector 1 of Bucharest is procuring technical design services, quality verification, technical assistance, and construction execution works for the Promenada Verde project—Object 2, which involves renovation, rehabilitation, and reinforcement of the Grivița lake shoreline embankments. The scope includes restoring deteriorated embankment protections to ensure safe recreation and leisure activities, addressing environmental degradation from erosion and maintenance deficiencies, while promoting sustainable urban mobility and improving the functional zoning of Sector 1. The intervention covers approximately 867,886 m² including water surfaces, green spaces, and promenade areas with over 8 km of total promenade length, estimated at 269 million RON with submissions due 17 August 2026.
