Verbandsgemeinde Maifeld commissioned object planning services for an energy-efficient renovation of St. Martin primary and all-day school in Ochtendung, targeting KfW 40 efficiency standards through comprehensive measures including facade insulation, roof and foundation insulation, window replacement, renewable energy systems, ventilation with heat recovery, and building automation. The project, awarded to ternes architekten + ingenieure for €292,960.84 on 7 January 2026, is now complete and includes planning for additional works such as LED retrofitting, water line renewal, and toilet upgrades while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing school operations.
