Pohjois-Karjalan hyvinvointialue Siun sote procured suture materials for its facilities for the period 1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026, with an option for an indefinite continuation contract. This was a partial re-competition of an earlier suture materials framework, with the contract awarded to Arthrex Finland Oy, B. Braun Medical Oy, and Medtronic Finland Oy for a total value of 23,406.45 EUR. All supplied products were required to comply with EU regulations, Finnish legislation, and safety standards regarding construction, equipment, occupational safety, fire safety, and electrical safety.
