Přístroje musí umožňovat vést anestézii s maximální bezpečností a vysokou efektivitou v automatickém režimu dávkování příkonu plynů a anestetik ve zpětné vazbě podle požadovaných hodnot ve výdechu. Měření všech složek anestézie umožní anesteziologovi vést individualizovanou anestézii na míru každému pacientovi.
