The City of Hateg awarded construction and equipment installation works for the rehabilitation and expansion of green spaces and public parks in Hateg, project code SMIS 348700, to CORNELL'S FLOOR S.R.L. and ROGERA PREST COM for 6,826,354.14 RON on 21 April 2026. The scope includes pedestrian zone expansion with urban plaza features, an embedded artesian fountain with water and light displays, restoration and relocation of the historic "Cișmea cu lei" cistern with architectural lighting, two novel glass information elements (tourist map panel and cube), protective parapet installation, landscaping with perennial plants and trees, architectural and ambient public lighting systems, CCTV and Wi-Fi infrastructure, automated irrigation systems, water supply and drainage networks, and modern multifunctional urban furniture.
