Αντικείμενο του έργου αποτελεί ο ανασχεδιασμός και η ανάπλαση τμήματος της προαναφερόμενης οδού. Στόχος είναι η ποιοτική, λειτουργική και αισθητική αναβάθμιση του αστικού ιστού της περιοχής και, συνεπώς, της ζωής των πολιτών. Παράλληλα, μέσω του ανασχεδιασμού της οδού επιδιώκεται η ενίσχυση της ζωτικότητας και βιωσιμότητας ολόκληρου του Δήμου.
