The City of Kaufbeuren engaged KS Engineering GmbH (awarded 22 May 2026 for €194,038.38) to carry out the second construction phase of the Konradin primary school project, comprising energy-efficient renovation of the existing building and completion of four additional classrooms at Barbarossastraße, Kaufbeuren. The scope includes refurbishment of the building envelope, renovation of interior classroom areas, replacement of the heating system with renewable energy sources, installation of mechanical ventilation in classrooms, renewal of building services in coordination with the adjacent gymnasium, and restoration of the courtyard as a play area.
