VS Tscharnergut, Gesamtsanierung, Planerwahlverfahren

The City of Zurich's Building Procurement Office awarded a comprehensive renovation project for the Tscharnergut school complex to DE_studio DIA GmbH on 30 May 2026 for CHF 8.38 million. The project involves the complete renovation and energy upgrade of five school buildings (Fellerstrasse 18, 20, 22, 24 and Waldmannstrasse 19, 19a), updating the spatial program for modern learning methods and rising student numbers, and adapting the surrounding area renovated in 2011/12. The design and implementation will follow Swiss sustainable building standards (SNBS) with Minergie-Eco certification and a low-tech approach, with the general planning team comprising civil engineering, building systems, building physics, sustainability, and landscape architecture disciplines.
