WSC/T/100/2024 - DESIGN, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF A WATER RECLAMATION PLANT AT TA’ BARKAT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT USING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS - WSC

The subject of this tender is to design, deliver, install, and commission a complete Water Reclamation Plant at Ta’ Barkat Wastewater Treatment Plant, Malta. The Contractor shall be responsible for the design of all systems making up the reclamation plant, the supply and installation of all equipment including any modifications to the building and reservoirs that shall be provided by the Contracting Authority, and the testing and commissioning of the completed plant. Training shall also be provided by the Contractor during and after commissioning as necessary. The final goal is to increase the production of good quality reclaimed water, also known as ‘New Water’. Following the installation of the first plant, the demand for this water has increased significantly and therefore, this new plant, shall increase the production by about 8000 cubic metres of water per day. The source of water for the reclamation plant shall be the treated sewage effluent from Ta’ Barkat WWTP.
