Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf awarded a contract to FUGMANN JANOTTA PARTNER for 224,000 EUR (against a 250,000 EUR budget) to conduct model landscape planning projects demonstrating natural climate protection across three German regions. The work involves piloting landscape-level planning procedures to identify and assess natural greenhouse gas sinks, water balance, soil conditions, and biodiversity in relation to climate change impacts such as heat and heavy rainfall, focusing on six thematic priorities including moorlands, water management, coastal habitats, biotopes, forests, and soil functions.
