Béziers Méditerranée held a restricted design competition for the architectural and engineering design of an international-standard climbing wall facility in Béziers with capacity for 1,000 people, including competition and public spaces, spectator areas, multipurpose halls, administrative offices, and associated parking and landscaping, with a construction budget of €5.3 million. The contract was awarded on 2 June 2026 to the consortium ATELIER PERINET-MARQUET ET ASSOCIES ARCHITECTURE/BF ARCHITECTURE/SOJA INGENIERIE/EODD INGENIEURS CONSEILS/SIGMA ACOUSTIQUE/CRX SUD for €851,757.27 for the design phase.
