The Kraków Provincial Police Command has awarded a contract for collection and disposal of segregated and non-segregated solid waste from police facilities across Nowy Sącz county, divided into five tasks covering different police stations and posts. The contract, awarded on 27 April 2026 for 90,852.85 PLN, was won by four contractors: Marek Strzelec Firma Usługowo-Handlowa DIMARCO, Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej i Mieszkaniowej in Piwniczna-Zdrój, Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej Sp. z o.o., and PreZero Małopolska Sp. z o.o. Services include waste collection and utilization according to a set schedule or on telephone request, with a two-day response time for urgent pickups, and charges based on actual waste collected rather than estimated volumes.
