Innovationsquartier Oldenburg (IQON)

Innovationsquartier Oldenburg GmbH has awarded a contract worth €7,442,825.25 to vielmo architekten gmbh on 7 November 2025 for architectural services related to establishing an IT research and innovation centre on the former Fleiwa factory site in Oldenburg. The project involves constructing two new office and research buildings approximately 500 metres apart, acquiring existing buildings, and integrating university education, applied research, start-ups and users on a shared campus while preserving historic monuments on the site. The project is funded through federal and state grants.
