Overview
Im Zuge des Konzernprogrammes "Hochleistungsnetz" sollen die Strecken 2630 und 3510 zwischen Köln – Koblenz – Mainz zu einem Hochleistungskorridor ausgebaut werden. Dafür ist eine mehrmonatige Totalsperrung vorgesehen, um alle in den nächsten Jahren erneuerungsbedürftigen Anlagen zu erneuern. Eine Verbesserung der Anlagen, die über den 1:1 Ersatz hinausgeht, ist stellenweise ebenfalls vorgesehen, um die Streckenleistungsfähigkeit und Betriebsflexibilität zu verbessern.
