The Landkreis Gießen awarded metalwork and window installation services for an expansion of Mittelpunktgrundschule Hungen to H&P Metallbau GmbH on 8 July 2026. The project involves a two-storey timber-frame extension with wooden facade cladding, eight new classrooms, a library, office and differentiation spaces, plus kitchen and dining facilities created through internal restructuring in the existing building. Metalwork and window elements are integral components of the new construction, which features a timber post-and-beam structure with limited steel columns and wooden beams.
