Kraków University of Technology has awarded a contract to Werth Messtechnik GmbH for the purchase of an optical coordinate measuring machine (CMM) valued at 2,972,848.5 PLN. The system must meet detailed metrological and design specifications including a minimum XY measurement space diagonal of 1000 mm, dual telecentric lens objectives, subpixel image processing algorithms, pneumatic axis bearings, and automated surface scanning with image stitching capabilities, with provisions for future expansion to include additional measurement axes and sensors integrated into a single metrology software environment.
